“Rustico Sara & Cottage Giusi” are typical country houses perched on a hill, with stunning panoramic view of the valley below and the mountains beyond. Enjoy the sense of peace and tranquillity and well-being amidst breath-taking scenery far and away from the madding crowd. In the villa “Rustico Sara” there are: 5 rooms, 4 bathrooms with shower, 1 living room and 1 kitchen with fireplace; all around there are a spacious terrace and a beautiful garden where it is possible to lie in the sun and to rest on the deckchairs or to have a snack on the small tables. In the “Cottage Giusi” there are 2 rooms, 1 bathroom with shower and 1 living room with a modern kitchen complete with attachements; in the garden it is possible to lunch in the shade of the pretty gatzebo or to lie in the sun on the deckchairs and to admire the wonderful panoramic view. The properties are built in traditional stone with a cosy wood-burning oven cotto brickwork wooden floors and chestnut beamed ceilings-all of which add the rustic comfort of the place; the swimming-pool is built in traditional stone too and it show respect for the nature and for the surrounding ambient, it is available for the guests of the villa and of the cottage. At the “Rustico Sara” and at the “Cottage Giusi” you can breathe pure air and you can spend a period of quiet, to our houses you will find again the values and the simple life of the past and you will receive always a warm welcome.

Vicinity of the “Rustico Sara & Cottage Giusi” is possible to visit the artistic and natural places and the historic countries: the ancient towns of Castelnuovo Garfagnana, Castelvecchio Pascoli and Barga. You can also visit The Windy Caves, The Hermitage at Calomini, the submerged village of Vagli and the nature park of Orecchiella.

Instructions on how to reach the property

In regard to the means of transport in order to come to “Rustico Sara & Cottage Giusi” from Pisa or from Florence you'd better have or rent a car: when you arrive in Lucca you go in direction of Castelnuovo Garfagnana (to Abetone); when you arrive in Gallicano (before Castelnuovo) you go on the uphill road in direction of Molazzana; when you arrive in Molazzana you go in direction of Brucciano (there are the sign-boards: "B&B Rustico Sara"). The nearest train station is 8K away from “Rustico Sara & Cottage Giusi”, if you want train journey and come to our place with the train you can catch the train from Florence or from Pisa to Lucca and from Lucca to Barga-Gallicano; if you don’t have the car in the locality of Brucciano, where is our accommodation facility, there is the bus stop and there are the public transport that pass in the morning and in the evening. If you arrive by means of the aeroplane the nearest airport is the Pisa airport, it is 60K away.
